The "Lặng" Project – When Art Dissolves All Boundaries
Nurtured and executed by passionate young minds from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, “Lặng” - carrying the deeply moving message "Hearing with eyes, touching with hearts" - is a special artistic exchange and performance event. The project was born to direct the lens of media and social empathy toward the hearing-impaired community - a place where emotions do not need words to find a profound resonance.
The project's journey is a chain of human-centric practical activities spanning multiple phases:
* The Starting Point at District 6 Hope School (Trường Hy Vọng Quận 6): The student group directly visited, organized volunteer activities, interacted, and stepped into the soundless world of hearing-impaired children. * An Interactive Playground for the Hearing-Impaired Youth: Here, language barriers completely dissolved, leaving only bright smiles, focused eyes, and warm handshakes. * A Sublime Art Performance Night: That entire journey of experience and empathy was encapsulated and fully recreated in a grand art concert night right at the auditorium of the HCMC University of Culture, taking the audience through a unique spectrum of emotions.
Accompanies and Deeply Moving Moments
The "Lặng" art performance night was far more than just a specialized student academic project; it genuinely attracted the attention and participation of many reputable artists, KOLs, and social organizations, including singer Dam Vinh Hung, Master Hoang Nhung, and various guest performers. The support of veteran artists generated massive media buzz, helping the project's core message spread even wider.
Additionally, the highlight that brought many audiences to tears was the contemporary dance performance by the Lắng Nghe Điểm Chạm dance group, alongside teachers and students from District 6 Hope School. On a stage free of background track sounds, the dancers retold a powerful story through body movements, subtle physical cues, and resilient glances.
At the same time, the collective resonance of nearly 100 students from the Department of Cultural and Arts Management, alongside dedicated volunteers, successfully created a solemn, warm, and love-filled artistic space.

ONVO Lab mobilized a professional filming equipment setup and deployed in-house personnel to monitor every camera angle, capturing the most priceless moments: from the innocent smiles of the children at Hope School and the fluid hand movements of sign language to the emotional tears of the audience.
The post-production workflow was heavily optimized with a carefully prepared script to create cinematic video recaps and media imagery, allowing the story of "Lặng" to continue touching the hearts of millions across digital spaces long after the curtains closed.
